But, to properly prepare for closing, Foote Title Group needs two weeks from the time of contact when you’re buying a house or the time of loan application if you’re refinancing. This helps us ensure everything is in order so that the day of closing goes smoothly.
Do you know the best time of the month to schedule your closing? Aim for some time between the 20th and the 25th of the month. This allows you to address any problems that may arise at closing and solve them before the month runs out. If you close on the last day of the month, you run the risk of not being able to solve a problem before the close of business that day. Your closing would be put off into the next month, and you could face increased closing costs.
